Essential Elements of the Report
1. Abstract (5-8 lines minimum)
a. Introduce the thesis statement
b. Mention the purpose
c. State the procedure (methodology)
d. Summary of result
e. Significance of result

2. Introduction (2-3 pages minimum)
a. Explain the thesis statement (research question)
b. Write the purpose and significance of your study
c. Explain Methodology (e.g. how many secondary literature sources, how many participants, how many questions, or how many primary sources were used and how you did that. Also quickly mention any limitations, such as time constraints, lack of respondents or sources etc.)
d. Provide literature review (e.g. as one full essay, preferably with comparisons, and not separately for each source)
Note:
a. You are allowed to have or not to have sub-headings. For instance you can do the above four things under sub-headings, Introduction, Purpose and Significance, Methodology, Literature Review, otherwise you can do everything as separate paragraphs without any sub-headings.
b. You can change the sequence of the above elements. For instance you can state methodology later in the report. You can choose what suits your major better.

3. Discussion and Findings (1-2 pages minimum)
a. Quickly introduce to the methods of survey, interview or document analysis of primary sources
b. Give sample of questions (or primary source’s excerpts)
c. Provide summary of results (summary or percentage)
d. Give analysis (your opinions and connection between results and literature review)
Note:
a. You are allowed to have or not to have sub-headings. For instance you can do the above under sub-headings, Methods, Questions and Summary of Results, Analysis, otherwise you can just write everything as one full essay.
4. Conclusion (5-8 lines)
a. Rephrase thesis statement
b. Provide summary of the results
c. Confirm or disprove your thesis statements
d. Mention some possible research questions that emerge from your result and that you or others can study later.
5. References
a. List all the references used (not the primary sources) according to the APA format.
