Early Pioneers In Rocketry
Choose an individual who stands out in your mind that has contributed to the growth of the Aviation industry. Write a brief biography of their life. Focus on their accomplishments and how they affected the growth in the aviation industry. The biography should be at least 250 woods in length.

The first person to research and develop a rocket, was in the United States in 1919. The scientist was Robert H Goddard and his method was a liquid-fueled rocket. Goddard successfully launched his rocket in 1926.

During World War II the leading rocket developer for Germany was Wernher Von Braun.
Supersonic Flight
Charles Yeager became the first human to officially break the sound barrier, on October 14, 1947, he flew the experimental Bell X-1 at Mach 1 at an altitude of 45,000 ft.
